Air freight AM – KLIA (Ref ID: 11702)
・Develop/maintain Air freight business for domestic and international clients.
・Meet with middle/senior logistics executives in client organizations to scope out and understand needs for airfreight projects and other service sales opportunities
・Lead and motivate teams to achieve departmental goals and carry out staff performance reviews
・Provide training and coaching to team members by ensuring employees are working in their assigned areas to provide adequate coverage for all processes which may include task delegation and follow up.
・Review claims resulting from missing or damaged cargo.
・Maintain professional and proactive communication with all department staff, internal and external customers.
・Provides advice on maintaining and improving cost effective ways to handle air freight, and make the job more efficiently.
・To provide branch performance report on monthly basis.
・Assess and coordinate internal and external resources to provide feasible and sustainable services to clients
・Negotiated contracts with airlines, shipping partners and vendors.
・Coordinated with sales and customer service team for any Import/Export arrangement.
・Oversee the Air department to ensure that all aspects of Export and Import cargo from booking, pick-up, delivery, logging, file creation, customs clearance, customer service and invoicing are performed as per company standards.
・Ensure maintain high levels of Customs Service, maintain integrity in the operation and effect a smooth running department
・Strategy and planning – including the development of operational strategies based on financial budgets.
・To perform other job task as assign by the Branch manager.
・ Diploma/Degree in any field
・ Minimum 3-5 years of previous experience in similar positions（Custom clearance, Air freight experience）
・ Strong customer service skills and detail oriented.
・ Excellent English communication skills both verbal and written
